1. Introduction

Welcome to BrightPath Neuro Assessment Services. We provide comprehensive assessments for ADHD and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in line with ICD-11 standards. This guide outlines the process, your rights, and the support you can expect as a service user.

2. Our Services
  • ADHD and ASC Assessments: Using evidence-based tools and multidisciplinary review.

  • Psychoeducation: Post-diagnosis support and guidance.

  • Ongoing Support: Referrals, treatment plans, and educational advocacy (e.g., EHCP support).

  • Medication Management

3. What to Expect
  • Referral Process: You can be referred by a GP, school, or self-refer. Our team will gather necessary history and reports for a thorough evaluation.

  • The Assessment: Our assessments involve a combination of clinical interviews, standardised tests (e.g., ADOS for ASC or QB Test for ADHD), and observations.

  • Reasonable Adjustments: We are committed to making necessary adjustments during your assessment to accommodate any sensory, communication, or mobility needs. This includes options like sensory-friendly rooms, extended time, or alternative communication methods.

  • Feedback and Reports: Once the assessment is complete, you will receive a detailed report with the findings and a clear plan of next steps, including treatment and support recommendations.

4. Post-Diagnosis Support

After diagnosis, we offer:

  • Psychoeducation: To help you and your family understand the condition and how to manage symptoms effectively.

  • Support with Education and Employment: Guidance on securing EHCPs for children and reasonable adjustments at work for adults.

  • Treatment Recommendations: Where relevant, we provide information on behavioural interventions, therapies, and medication options.
